You’re so talented, this is amazing as always!!

sleepFacingWest responds:

You're too kind! I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing.

I love this, too bad it isn’t allowed for use in Geometry Dash because I would def use it in a level if it was. Great track tho :)

LeonRiskin responds:

Glad you liked it! Sorry, it's now available for that use. These tracks are for indie game soundtracks, and can also be found on streaming

It’s a bit apparent in some places that this song was originally meant to contain vocals, but this is honestly one of your cleanest mixes yet, great as usual

BoomKitty responds:

Facts. Yeah this and the song I'm releasing in 2 weeks have great mixes, and honestly I haven't been able to get my mixes this clean since.

Don’t know how to feel about the tag calling me weird, but nice song

Edit: the gaslighting is crazy rn

geody responds:

huh where does it say that

Pretty nice, I love the mixing on this one in the bouncy synths and the echo effects on the vocals, rly clean :)

Kurtiskong responds:

thanks homie

1:16 I can’t with this lyric 💀💀

Kurtiskong responds:

Eminem don't stand a chance💀

I got chills several times while listening to this, I love some of these chords so much

sleepFacingWest responds:

Thank you! A lot of that has to do with moving things early or late. I had a teacher once that said suspensions and resolutions are underutilized in contemporary music and I couldn't agree more. They create such nice tension.
I remember playing in a baroque ensemble at one point and the gentleman leading the session wanted all the instrumentalists to really pay attention to the underlying harmonies that were being created, so he had us just sustain notes of the chords and had each person change to the next note in their score, but one at a time "Sopranos, next note...now altos, next note....now tenors, next note...." It was just an exercise, but I remember thinking it would make such a cool compositional technique to create more movement out of relatively simple bread and butter chords.
Brian Eno also did this with his arrangements of Pachabel's Canon. It's super interesting how much a piece of music changes when you just move things note by note instead of blocks!

This is awesome, you’re really underrated

Mischa-head responds:

Ah you're too kind. Thanks for listening and commenting!

Arrangement could use some work and the mix is pretty quiet and could use some more bass, but this is pretty cool, definitely your best track yet :)

btw I scouted you

FlakeyGD responds:

Thanks, Mobile Music will always be a little bit disjointed, once I have the time to do things on lmms, that's when I'll start getting better

One of the heaviest house tracks I’ve ever heard, this is so good

JessieYun responds:
